Vanilla Chai Cupcakes

by Carrie on May 6, 2013

It was just a year ago that Krystal welcome her little girl. Our girls are about a week apart. Krystal and her husband Eric are waiting the arrival of their little boy any day now. The wonderful Eva at Eva Bakes decided to throw Mrs. Krystal a wonderful baby shower for their sweet baby “cupcake” as they call him.

The theme was cupcakes, and who doesn’t like cupcakes? I know I do. I received these cupcakes when a Mom delivered a meal after Hanna. I LOVED these cupcakes. I was quick to ask for the recipe and have it had it stored away since. I figured this was the perfect occasion. These are so so delicious. And if you happen to have extra frosting it’s perfect on graham crackers, not that I tested that.

Check out the other wonderful cupcakes at Eva Bakes.

These cupcakes sound ridiculously good. I love chai spice, so incorporating them into a cupcake is pure awesomeness. Thank you so much for joining me for Krystal’s virtual baby shower!

Stunning piping job on the frosting! I keep telling myself that I need to practice, but I don’t want to be tempted with cupcakes around the house and I just can’t bring myself to bring badly decorated cupcakes to work . :-)

The smell of chai makes me drool. I can’t even imagine how delicious it would be in a cupcake. Awesome job!
