Can you believe it’s October already? Adam and I love going for long walks/hikes. And now that the weather is cooler we hope to do more of those. I was excited by this prize back as it is the perfect backpack for a few snacks and water.

I have never heard or seen of these nut clusters. I am not a HUGE nut person but was excited to try something new. We LOVED these. Perfect little small snack! And delicious!!!

So I am giving away one of the above snack packs. All you have to do is leave a comment with your favorite kind of nut and your favorite fall activity. You need to answer BOTH questions to be eligible. And need to have an e-mail that I contact you at.

Happy 2nd Birthday

I can’t believe this little blog is now 2 years old! It started on in 2007 with a Coconut cake I made to celebrate Valentines day. I now make almost all my cakes from scratch and can’t say I will ever go back to boxed cake mix, homemade is SOOO much better.

I moved my blog to my own domain name in May of 2008. I hope you all enjoy reading my blog as much as I love baking and cooking in the kitchen, and I hope to countine my blog for many more years to come.

To celebrate my blog birthday I am giving away a Banana Nut Cherrios basket.

My favorite way to use chicken broth is to make soup hehe everyone loves soup and I especially love making my late grandmother’s recipe it’s delicious!
