Strawberry Danishes and a Giveaway

I recently joined the local MOP’s group, this is awesome on many levels. But every other meeting is my groups turn to bring food and we do pot-luck style. This means I get to try new breakfast type foods without having them all in my house. So when I saw these on pinterest I knew what I would be making. These did not disappoint, great flavor and simple. Another reason I love these Pillsbury crescent sheets, they make it so much easier to make these types of things.

My Blog Spark along with Walmart was is nice enough to let me host a little giveaway for a $25 Wal-Mart giftcard to go buy your own Pillsbury product, maybe you will be the next million dollar winner. To enter simply leave a comment telling me your favorite recipe using a Pillsbury product.

Strawberry Danishes (From: Inspired By Charm)

  • 1 package Pillsbury crescent sheets
  • 4 oz softened cream cheese
  • 1/4 tsp vanilla
  • 1 1/2 tbs powdered sugar
  • 1/2 cup jam of choice
Preheat oven to 350. Unroll dough on a lightly floured surface. Cut dough in half
Combined softened cream cheese, sugar and vanilla. Spread evenly over dough top with jam.
Roll up dough lengthwise
Sliced rolled dough into seven even sections.

Place cut sections into a lightly greased mini muffin tin.
Bake for 12-15 minutes or until golden brown on top. then, allow to cool in pan for about five minutes.
Remove from pan and lightly sprinkle with powdered sugar.

These danishes look amazing! I have a recipe in my blog for mini caramel apple pies that are delicious, using premade crust.

At Christmas we use Pillsbury crescent rolls to make savory candy canes sprinkled with dill. So good!

I love making The Pampered Chef’s taffy apple pizza recipe. It starts with the Pillsbury pre-made sugar cookie dough, and that is baked like the pizza “crust.” It’s topped with a peanut butter cream cheese mixture, sliced apples, cinnamon and a drizzle of caramel.

Yum, those look great!

My favorite treat to make with Pillsbury products are popovers. I actually am going to post them on my blog soon. They’re a little putzy to make but they taste SO good. You take the canned biscuits, cut them into fourths and take a piece of the biscuit, spread it into a mini muffin pan, top with shredded cheese, bacon bits and some seasonings of your choice. Bake until the popovers puff up and are golden brown. Enjoy!

My Husband’s Grandma makes these every year for our Appetizer Christmas Eve celebration and they’re gobbled up within minutes despite her making multiple batches!

I know this is nothing gourmet, but nothing beats pigs in a blanket…crescent rolls with little sausages. OMG…love those things!

It was so unhealthy, but I have made chicken and cream cheese stuffed pockets with cheese sauce using their crescent rolls. They were so good, but so unhealthy. Your danishes look amazing!

One recipe is I press crescent rolls into a 9 x 13 pan. Spread refried beans over ,cooked seasoned meat and lastly lots of shredded cheese. bake at 375 for about 20 to 30 minutes. top with lettuce, salsa and sour cream if desired!

Oh those look so good! I love their pre-made pie crust in the refrigerated section. It is delicious and dairy and soy free, so I can eat it. My go-to dessert when I need something quick and sweet is a cherry pie with it.

I love making veggie crescents. Roll the dough flat, bake until golden, cover with a cream cheese mixture, top with cheddar cheese, brocolli, carrot slices, etc. Thanks for the chance to win!
