Cake Batter Dip

by Carrie on October 21, 2011

One of my favorite flavors is cake batter. I love the flavor. I often leave extra cake batter in the bowl after making a cake just so I can lick the bowl 😉 So when I saw this time it was a must. I like that it calls for such small amounts and such simple/normal items. I had everything in my fridge already. And you can make it any portion you wanted. I had about 3/4 of container of cool whip left, so I just winged and tasted as I went to get the flavor I thought I was looking for.

Although this doesn’t taste just like cake batter it is delicious. With some animal crackers or just a finger it is the before sweet but not to sweet treat.

Cake Batter Dip (From: Lee, Me, and the Girls)

  • 3tbsp cake mix
  • 2tbsp plain yogurt
  • 1 tbsp cool whip
Mix everything together and chill for 30 minutes or until ready to serve.
Serve with graham crackers or animal crackers.

Could this be made with any flavor cake mix? Can you use plain greek yogurt? If so, I am making this tonight to go with graham crackers!

You know how you associate certain bloggers with certain flavors/ingredients? I definitely associate you with cake batter! You always have the best recipes with that flavor.

Yes Charlotte you are correct. You could make more and just guess on measurements.
